3D Fashion & Apparel Designer

Job Overview:

Join an agile eCommerce startup where you will lead tech pack development and create intricate artwork for embroidery and prints, driving the aesthetic direction of our upcoming apparel and accessories collections.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Asia/Dubai Time | 1-hour unpaid break

Responsibilities

  • Design apparel, accessories, and jewelry concepts that align with the brand's creative vision.
  • Create technical drawings, garment patterns, and 3D models for production.
  • Develop artwork for embroidery, prints, appliqué, patches, and other garment embellishments.
  • Prepare production-ready technical packs and collaborate with manufacturers to ensure design accuracy.
  • Transform sketches and concepts into detailed 3D designs using industry-standard software.
  • Create fashion illustrations, product mockups, and presentation materials.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team by creating graphics, illustrations, and simple animations for email campaigns, social media, and website content.
  • Stay up to date with fashion, streetwear, anime, and design trends to develop innovative collections.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating fashion design and apparel development experience. (Applications with portfolios will be prioritized).
  • Advanced proficiency in CLO3D and Procreate.
  • Proven experience creating garment patterns, technical drawings, and production-ready specifications.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, embroidery, printing techniques, and apparel manufacturing.
  • Ability to translate creative concepts into commercially viable products.
  • Highly organized with sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Great to Have as a bonus:

  • Knowledge of anime, gaming, or pop culture-inspired fashion, alongside anime/manga/semi-realistic illustration skills.
  • Experience designing streetwear collections, jewelry, or fashion accessories.
  • Experience creating embroidery, digital prints, UV-reactive designs, or appliqué artwork.
  • Experience with Fusion 360 (or other 3D modeling software) and basic animation/motion graphics.
  • Previous experience working with Shopify, eCommerce brands, or fashion startups.
