A-Level Maths Marker & Feedback Writer (Year 12/13) - Part-Time, Remote - Contract to Hire

Education Helps is a online A-Level and GCSE Mathematics tuition company based in the UK. We don't just teach lessons - we run a full academic support system for our students, including homework, detailed marking, testing, and progress tracking. High-quality, actionable feedback is a core part of how our students improve, so this role directly shapes student outcomes.

The Role

We're looking for someone to mark and give feedback on homework assignments for our Year 12 and Year 13 A-Level Maths students (Pure, Mechanics, and Statistics).

For each assignment, you will:

- Mark the student's work accurately against the correct method and final answer

-Annotate the script clearly — showing exactly where marks were gained or lost, and correcting errors in the working

-Write structured written feedback covering:

-What the student did well

-What they got wrong and why

-What they should focus on / revise before the next assignment

This is not a tick-box marking job. Feedback needs to be specific enough that a student reads it and knows exactly what to do next.

What We're Looking For

-Strong mathematical knowledge to A-Level standard or above (Pure, Mechanics and Statistics)

-Excellent written English — clear, professional, and easy for a teenager (and their parent) to understand

-High attention to detail — marking accuracy matters

-Reliable and able to consistently meet turnaround deadlines

-Prior experience marking, tutoring, or teaching A-Level Maths is a strong plus

Structure & Progression

This role starts part-time, covering approximately 20–40 marked assignments per week, depending on your availability and the quality/consistency of your work

Based on marking quality, accuracy, and reliability, there is a clear path to move into a full-time role with us

We're building a long-term working relationship here, not a one-off gig we want to invest in people who are good and want to grow with us
