Account Manager / Project Manager

Contract

We are a premium podcast and video studio. We produce and publish shows for founders and businesses, handling everything from brand to final episode. We have the editors, designers, and studio team in place. We need one person to run the machine between them and our clients.

The role

You are the person who keeps every project moving and every client informed. You own the production board, push our editors and designers to hit their dates, and act as the point of contact for clients through their feedback and approvals. You are not editing, designing, or selling. You are coordinating the people who do, and keeping clients informed while it happens. If you are organized, a clear writer, and you like making sure nothing slips, this is your seat.

What you'll own

Run the board. Manage our projects in ClickUp. Open client and episode tasks, set start dates, and move every project through its stages so nothing stalls or gets forgotten.

Push the team. Assign work to our editors and designers, set their deadlines, and follow up to make sure they deliver on time. Chase politely but persistently. Keeping people on schedule is the core of the job.

Be the client's point of contact. Send clients their project updates and review links at each milestone using our templates. Collect their feedback, route revision requests to the right editor, and run the brand-kit concept selection back and forth. Keep every client feeling looked after.

Publish. Once an episode is approved internally, publish it. Upload episodes to the client's podcast platforms (YouTube, Spotify, Apple) and schedule their social clips through Buffer. Send the "you're live" email when it's done. Not all clients will require publishing.

Set up new clients. When a new client comes on, collect their intake, gather platform access during onboarding, and confirm everything is connected before production starts.

What you won't do

You won't edit video, design graphics, run quality control on the final work, or handle sales. Your job is project management, coordination and client communication.

Tools You'll Use ClickUp (project management), Buffer (social scheduling), Gmail / Google Workspace, ---------- , and the podcast platforms (YouTube, Spotify for Creators, Apple Podcasts). We'll train you on our setup. Experience with any of these is a plus.

What we're looking for

Excellent written English. You'll be email ing clients directly, so your writing needs to be clear, warm, and professional. We use templates to help.

Strong organization. You can hold many moving projects at once and let nothing drop.

Reliable and self-directed. You follow a process without being reminded and flag problems before they become fires. But you ASK questions.

Comfortable following up with people. You can chase a deadline without being rude and without letting it slide.

Detail-oriented. Names spelled right, links correct, dates accurate.

Nice to have

Prior ClickUp experience

Familiarity with social scheduling tools

Logistics

Remote. Part-time to start

How to apply

Send a short note telling us about a time you kept a project or a team on track, and any experience you have with the tools above. Keep it brief. We care more about how clearly you write than how long.
