Accounting Assistant (Entry Level) Hybrid in Alabang

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join our growing team.This is an entry-level position designed for someone with a foundational understanding of accounting principles who wants to gain hands-on, practical experience. You do not need to be a fully qualified accountant or hold a formal accounting degree—what matters most is your willingness to learn, attention to detail, and comfort with numbers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Journal Entries: Prepare and accurately input daily and monthly journal entries.
  • Reconciliations: Support the team with account reconciliations and assist in the review process to ensure accuracy.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Help maintain the general ledger and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the accounting department with data entry, filing, and other ad-hoc financial tasks as needed.
Job Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a closely related business field (preferred)
  • Basic Accounting Knowledge: A foundational understanding of the general ledger, debits, and credits is required (either through coursework, a certificate, or prior basic office experience).
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Excel (basic formulas, data entry) and a willingness to learn accounting software.
  • Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for spotting discrepancies and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
  • Great Communicator: Ability to work well within a team and ask questions when needed.
Work Conditions
  • Work at home Setup, but should be amenable to going onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa City if needed.
  • Night Shift / Shifting Schedule flexibility is required to match client time zones and meet crucial financial deadlines.
