Application/Clinical Specialist

Job Summary:

The Application / Clinical Specialist – Imaging Systems is responsible for providing clinical application support, product expertise, technical training, and customer assistance for medical imaging equipment. This role works closely with sales teams, healthcare professionals, hospital users, service engineers, and principals to ensure successful product implementation, customer satisfaction, and optimal utilization of imaging systems.

The position requires strong knowledge of imaging technologies, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to translate technical product features into clinical and operational benefits.

Key Responsibilities: Product Application & Clinical Support

  • Provide application support and product expertise for imaging equipment such as CT Scan, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound, Mammography, C-arm, Angiography, and related systems
  • Conduct product demonstrations, clinical presentations, and application training for doctors, radiologists, technologists, nurses, and hospital users
  • Assist customers in understanding proper equipment workflow, features, and clinical applications
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales application support to ensure successful product adoption
  • Support product installation, user training, and system turnover activities
Customer Engagement & Sales Support
  • Collaborate with Sales Executives and Product Managers during customer presentations, site visits, product evaluations, and demonstrations
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable product solutions based on clinical needs
  • Support bidding activities by providing technical information, specifications, and product documentation
  • Assist in preparing technical proposals, comparison sheets, presentations, and customer-related materials
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and hospital stakeholders
Training & Knowledge Management
  • Develop and deliver product training materials, user guides, and educational presentations
  • Conduct continuous product learning and stay updated on new imaging technologies and industry trends
  • Provide feedback on customer concerns, product performance, and improvement opportunities
  • Support internal training initiatives for sales and service teams
Coordination & Reporting
  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Service, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Principals/Suppliers for project requirements
  • Assist in monitoring project implementation and customer requirements
  • Prepare activity reports, customer feedback reports, and application support documentation
  • Provide insights on competitor products, market trends, and customer needs
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or other allied medical/science-related courses
  • With experience in medical imaging, clinical applications, product support, or medical equipment industry
  • Knowledge and exposure in imaging systems such as CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound, Mammography, C-arm, or Angiography is highly preferred
  • Experience handling hospital users and healthcare professionals is an advantage
  • Strong presentation, communication, and training skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Willing to travel for customer visits, training, demonstrations, and project requirements
  • Proficient in preparing reports, presentations, and technical documents
