Appointment Setter, Telesales, Freelance
Job Description:
- Contact warm and qualified leads provided by the Marketing team
- Conduct approximately 5–10 high-quality calls per week, depending on lead availability
- Understand prospects’ current situations, priorities, and potential business needs
- Identify current or future commercial opportunities
- Book qualified follow-up meetings with the commercial lead
- Ensure prospects understand the purpose and value of follow-up conversations
- Gather sales intelligence on business needs, buying windows, decision-makers, suppliers, and interest in Talent Acquisition support or supplier recommendations
- Review and research each lead, company, contact, and relevant context before making contact
- Review previous Marketing or sales interactions
- Prioritise leads based on quality, relevance, and potential opportunity
- Tailor the approach to each prospect rather than relying on generic scripts
- Send approved follow-up materials
- Maintain accurate CRM and/or Notion records, including call outcomes, qualification information, next steps, and sales intelligence
- Flag warm or time-sensitive opportunities for prompt handover
- Provide sufficient context for senior commercial leads and useful feedback to Marketing
- Work on an ultra-low-volume, high-quality model of approximately 8 hours per week
- Report to the Marketing Manager
Requirements:
- Confident and professional on the phone
- Familiar with digital marketing products and services, including SEO, Paid Media, and Marketing Analytics
- Experience in appointment setting, telesales, business development, recruitment, lead qualification, or a similar role
- Ability to build rapport quickly without sounding overly scripted or sales-driven
- Comfortable speaking with senior business stakeholders
- Ability to ask good questions and listen carefully for commercial opportunities
- Ability to distinguish genuine buying signals from low-intent interest
- Organised and disciplined about follow-up
- Ability to write clear, concise notes useful to another salesperson
- Comfortable working independently with a relatively small lead pool
- Availability within the targeted Southeast Asia time zones/locations; only applications within these locations are processed
