About AI Training Work

AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback) is how people teach models to understand, reason, and produce useful outputs. Tasks include annotating text, writing and rating model responses, verifying facts, and crafting prompts and tests.

This work is often remote and flexible, accessible without formal degrees for many roles, and gives contributors an opportunity to influence cutting-edge AI in a growing industry.

The Role

We are recruiting an Arabic Content Analyst to help fine-tune large language models. You will analyze Arabic-language material, verify claims via online research, create analytical questions and scenarios, and produce correct answers with detailed explanations.

This is a contract, part-time position with a strong commitment requirement: you must be available for 40 hours per week that overlap US Pacific time zone hours. Work is fully remote and open worldwide.

What You'll Do

  • Read and analyze Arabic-language content, breaking it into logical components and key claims.
  • Conduct online research to validate facts and ensure the accuracy of training examples.
  • Create analytical questions, scenarios, puzzles, and prompt-response pairs to challenge model reasoning.
  • Write clear, high-quality model responses and explanations used for supervised fine-tuning (SFT).
  • Rate and evaluate model outputs as part of evaluation tasks (EVALUATION_RATING).
  • Provide constructive annotations and feedback to improve dataset quality and model behavior.
  • Collaborate with the OpenTrain team, follow guidelines, and meet weekly quality targets and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Arabic and English (reading and writing) with strong written communication skills in both languages.
  • Proven analytical and online research skills to validate claims and assemble accurate training data.
  • Ability to provide detailed, constructive annotations and feedback.
  • Creative and lateral thinking for crafting challenging prompts and reasoning tasks.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote contractor role.
  • Available to work 40 hours per week with schedule overlap in US Pacific time.
  • Access to a desktop or laptop with a reliable internet connection.

Helpful Background

Candidates from a range of fields are welcome. Typical helpful backgrounds include engineering, literature, journalism, communications, arts, statistics, or related studies, though relevant experience can substitute for formal education.

  • Professional writing or analysis experience (business/research analyst, copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, translator).
  • Familiarity with Excel and Google Workspace for organizing tasks and tracking work.
  • Comfort interpreting data, doing basic arithmetic checks, and writing clear explanations.
