About Disney Consumer Products Disney Consumer Products (DCP) is the division of Disney Experiences that brings beloved brands and franchises into the daily lives of families and fans through products — including toys, t-shirts, apps, books, and more — and experiences that can be found around the world. About the Role Disney Philippines is seeking an Assistant Manager, New Business Development and Key Account Management to drive sustainable revenue and profit growth within the Consumer Products Licensing business. This role focuses on expanding existing partner portfolios and identifying new business opportunities through consumer-driven, locally relevant products and experiences in the Philippines. This role plays a key part in unlocking growth across multiple product categories by identifying whitespace opportunities, onboarding and managing licensees, and supporting the execution of category and franchise strategies. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role helps translate market insights into commercially successful partnerships and product offerings. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong commercial acumen, relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate a complex organization. They are proactive, collaborative, and able to engage, influence and drive impact across internal and external stakeholders. This role will report directly to the Manager, Hardlines & Consumables (Philippines). Responsibilities: Own and grow assigned licensing categories and partner portfolios by delivering revenue, profitability and growth objectives through both existing business performance and new business opportunities across Disney-owned franchises, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. Business Development Drive revenue growth of the Licensing business by unlocking new opportunities across Disney-owned brands and franchises. Analyze consumer, market, and industry data to identify trends, competitive dynamics, emerging technologies, and whitespace opportunities for business expansion. Identify, evaluate and cultivate relationships with prospective business partners, to develop strategic and innovative, high-potential commercial opportunities. Develop business cases, commercial proposals and financial analyses to evaluate growth opportunities, assess potential value and support decision-making. Negotiate and structure agreements with prospective business partners to establish commercially viable agreements and drive incremental revenue. Lead and execute new business collaborations through to launch, working closely partners and internal teams other Disney Lines of Businesses (LOBs) to ensure successful commercialization. Key Account Management Own assigned partner portfolios and categories, driving revenue, profitability, and long-term business growth. Support development of category business vision and strategic direction to drive business growth, market expansion and partner performance. Lead and strengthen relationship with licensees, distributors, retail partners and global brand partners to drive business performance and growth. Oversee partner management activities for licensees, including onboarding, contract negotiation, business planning, performance reviews and issue resolution. Provide actionable business insights including financial analysis, market intelligence and strategic recommendations to support commercial decision making. Collaborate with licensees and cross-functional teams on retail campaigns and executions in line with commercial strategies. Build strong cross-functional partnerships across Disney business units, franchise teams, and regional stakeholders to align priorities, unlock growth opportunities, and drive successful business outcomes. Requirements - Experiences: At least 5 years’ business development, account management, or licensing experience within consumer products, toys, FMCG, F&B, entertainment, or related industries Proven track record of developing and executing strategic partnerships and growth initiatives, with demonstrated commercial results. Experience in identifying, developing and delivering new business opportunities including market assessment, through to execution of expansion strategies for new products, categories, or channels. Strong commercial acumen, with experience structuring partnerships and managing deal processes to achieve business objectives. Strong knowledge of Philippine consumer and retail landscape, including market dynamics, key retail and distribution players, and consumer product categories. Demonstrated experience in building and leveraging industry relationships, with an established network across the Philippine consumer products, retail, or licensing landscape considered an advantage Requirements - Skills: Strong project management skills and ability to prioritise, multi-task and deliver in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, convey complex information, build trust, and influence stakeholders to drive decision-making across all levels Effective relationship-building capability, with the ability to establish trust, deepen partnerships, and sustain long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies Competency and confidence in negotiations, with the ability to structure commercially sound agreements and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a matrixed and highly collaborative environment.
