At Vestige Law (formerly GK Law PLLC), we're an award-winning boutique firm in Houston, Texas, practicing Corporate and Real Estate law. We're expanding our dynamic team and seeking a talented attorney Philippines to contribute to cases in shareholder rights litigation, business asset protection, real estate development, and investment. This is a full-time, remote position offering opportunities for professional growth, collaboration with seasoned U.S. attorneys, and the chance to make a meaningful difference for our clients.

You'll work closely with senior associates, gaining insights into U.S. legal practices while providing essential support on complex matters. If you're a dedicated professional with a passion for legal excellence, strong research and writing skills, and at least 4 years of attorney experience, this role offers a supportive environment with room for advancement and the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts for proceedings and negotiations.
  • Perform in-depth legal research, prepare for hearings and proceedings, and deliver strategic counsel under the guidance of senior associates.
  • Collaborate with senior associates and clients to streamline case management and ensure efficient outcomes.
  • Maintain and organize client files with precision, supporting the entire team in delivering top-tier service.
  • Assist senior associates in discovery, motion practice, mediations and trial.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience as an attorney in a law firm setting (applications without this experience will not be considered).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and advanced research tools like LexisNexis or Westlaw for Texas and federal case law.
  • Legal writing abilities for crafting motions, pleadings, demand letters, and other documents.
  • Proven case management skills with a strong sense of responsibility, dedication, and attention to detail.
  • A reliable home office setup, including a high-speed computer, stable internet (with backup), printer, speakers, and microphone.
  • Willingness to work during Central Time zone hours for seamless team collaboration.
  • Successful completion of the bar exam and a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) or equivalent from an accredited law school.
  • Litigation experience is specifically required for this role.
  • Admission to the Philippine bar is required for this position.
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills to interact with clients, staff, and senior attorneys.
  • Eagerness to partner with senior attorneys in serving clients and expanding our practice.
Important Note: As this role supports a Texas-based firm, and per legal requirements, individuals not licensed in Texas will be designated as Legal Managers rather than attorneys.

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $7 - $10, commensurate with experience.
