Overview:

Are you a ServiceM8 expert with exceptional attention to detail? We are seeking a dedicated Operations Assistant (Pest Control) to support our backend operations and quality assurance processes.

This is a purely administrative, back-office role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with systems, checklists, and maintaining accurate data. There are no cold calls or direct customer emails initially. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the operations team and field technicians have accurate, organized, and up-to-date information to support smooth day-to-day operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • ServiceM8 Auditing: Checking completed jobs to ensure all forms and compliance paperwork are 100% finished.
  • Treatment Follow-ups: Identifying "Rodent Baiting" or other pest treatment recommendations in job notes and setting up tasks for the Sydney team to follow up.
  • Workflow Triggers: Identifying sales opportunities and proposals within job notes and alerting the Sydney team.
  • Pre-Job Prep: Verifying pricing, contact details, and job forms for upcoming bookings.
  • Database Care: Managing recurring job queues and identifying "lost" customers for reminders.
  • Debt Support: Tracking overdue payments and flagging files for debt collection.
  • Social media: Planning and scheduling clever content for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
Requirements:
  • ServiceM8 Experience: Highly preferred (or experience with similar Australian job management software).
  • Detail Obsession: You must be the type of person who notices a missing form or a misspelled email immediately.
  • System-Oriented: You enjoy following a checklist and ensuring "the box is ticked."
  • Reliable Setup: High-speed internet and a quiet, professional home office.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work during Sydney business hours without constant supervision.
What We Offer:
  • Stable, long-term full-time employment.
  • A "no-phones" role (focus on task completion over customer service).
  • Growth opportunities as the business expands.
  • Supportive Sydney-based management.
