Casting Specialist – Content Moderation
Job Description:
- Review and analyze user-generated postings and verification details to ensure the legitimacy of users and job listings
- Request, collect, and analyze additional information or verification from job posters
- Identify and eliminate scams, potentially dangerous content, and inappropriate postings, escalating when necessary
- Assess user legitimacy using background checks, IDs, independent research, investigations, and verification materials
- Monitor system-generated alerts related to client and job-poster activities and determine appropriate actions
- Investigate scam complaints and inappropriate behavior reports, including decisions on client removal
- Copy-edit and optimize job posts to align with business objectives
- Manage ticket-queue pipelines, prioritizing incoming job posts by importance and timeliness
- Source missing information and enter job details from employers and third parties for publication
- Educate and assist clients with job-posting and application-management tools
- Address customer service issues requiring specialized casting knowledge
- Guide and train clients on casting tools and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with customer service, account management, and business development departments
- Support research projects and triage escalated customer-service tickets
- Review job database reports for jobs requiring attention, recategorization, or early expiration
- Assist team members with training, troubleshooting, and escalated cases
- Perform other assigned responsibilities and tasks
Requirements:
- Self-directed, efficient, and able to work autonomously
- Demonstrated experience handling a high volume of specialized content and users
- Highly organized, detail- and deadline-oriented
- Able to evaluate information and make decisions independently
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills adaptable to various personalities and seniority levels
- Excellent copy-editing, fact-checking, proofreading, and research skills
- Good data-entry, account-management, and client-support skills
- Technical acuity with online casting and hiring technology
- Strong analytical skills for assembling and interpreting data to assess content validity
- Willingness to learn about film, TV, theater, commercial production, performing arts, marketing, and casting; knowledge of these areas is a bonus
- Availability for a shifting schedule from 12AM–9AM
