About the role

Alps Consulting Engineers Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil and Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in the design, planning and execution of civil and structural engineering projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of our clients' visions.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the design and development of civil and structural engineering plans, drawings and specifications for a variety of projects
  • Conduct structural analyses and calculations to ensure the safety and integrity of buildings and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers and construction team, to coordinate project deliverables
  • Identify and resolve complex engineering challenges, providing innovative solutions that meet regulatory requirements and client expectations
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality
What we're looking for
  • Junior engineer or equivalent, with fresh grade or a minimum of 1-2 years' post-qualification experience in civil and structural engineering
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or other similar qualification
  • Proficient in the use of industry-standard engineering software, such as AutoCAD, ETABS and SAP2000
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills to navigate complex engineering challenges
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proactive working attitude and self-motivated as well as a good team player
  • Familiarity with local building regulations and codes, as well as a deep understanding of construction methods and materials
