Client Verification Specialist

Betterteam is looking for a detail-oriented New Client Verification Specialist to help maintain the integrity of our platform. In this role, you'll verify new customer accounts, review job postings, and ensure they comply with our quality and compliance standards before they are published.

We have a well-established verification process, and you'll be expected to follow each step carefully to ensure consistency and compliance. Most client communication is handled through email using pre-approved templates, although you may occasionally need to make outbound phone calls to verify account information or request clarification.

What You'll Do:

  • Verify new customer accounts using our established verification process.
  • Review and proofread job postings to ensure they meet company and job board guidelines.
  • Identify inconsistencies and gather additional information when needed.
  • Communicate with clients via email using standardized templates.
  • Endorse accounts to Customer Support for phone verification.
  • Document verification results accurately in our internal systems.
  • Escalate suspicious or non-compliant accounts when appropriate.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy while working efficiently.

Available Shifts:
  • We provide 24/7/365 support, with shifts available across all days and times.
  • You may indicate your preferred shift during the hiring process. While we offer flexible scheduling, most of our hiring needs are currently for night shifts.
What We're Looking For: We're looking for someone who is:
  • Highly detail-oriented and able to follow processes consistently.
  • Comfortable researching information online and finding answers quickly.
  • An excellent communicator with strong written English skills.
  • Confident in communicating with customers by email.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable using web-based applications and modern technology.
  • A fast and accurate typist.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with IP addresses and web domains.
  • Experience using Zendesk, Intercom, Google Workspace, or similar tools.
  • Previous BPO or back-office support experience.
  • Experience in customer verification, quality assurance, or administrative support is an advantage.
  • Senior High School graduates, college undergraduates, and college graduates are all welcome to apply.
Technical Requirements: To work from home successfully, you'll need:
  • A Windows PC or laptop with at least 8 GB RAM capable of running multiple browser tabs and applications simultaneously.
  • A stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 Mbps.
  • A USB headset with a clear microphone.
  • A quiet workspace with a reliable electricity supply.
