MAJOR RESPONSBILITIES

  1. Imparts the knowledge and skills to his/her students
  2. Ensures a smooth acquisition of necessary knowledge and skills and a logical flow in the presentation of lessons.
  3. Utilizes appropriate approaches and tools in presenting lessons effectively.
  4. Correlates subject matters with experiences and other related current issues
  5. Utilizes appropriate and useful learning materials
  6. Engages the students to participate in the class discussions and activities
  7. Promotes activities while eliciting cooperation and involvement
  8. Monitors and assist the students in the performance of an activity or task
  9. Maintains discipline among students in his class
  10. Prepares testing materials and appropriate blueprints and rubrics.
  11. Evaluates and records students’ performance.
  12. Confers with records of students’ parents/guardians on the academic performance of their children
  13. Submits reports as required by the EVP, School Director, Dean, Associate Deans and College Secretary.
  14. Comes to class on time, faithful to the objectives of the curriculum and syllabus, and competent in carrying out the tasks at all times
  15. Exercises fairness and impartiality in dealing with students, characterized by justice, balanced with kindness and firmness, tempered with understanding
  16. Maintains a teacher-friendly class

  17. Engages in research work
  18. Participates actively in community outreach programs among students.
  19. Cultivates critical and creative thinking, among students inculcating in them Christian and Filipino values, and develops in them the positive attitude through quality instruction, research and community service
  20. Prepares and updates course content relative to current trends of instruction; research and community service
  21. Upholds and implements the policies, standards and guidelines to attain the goals and objectives of the University and act as a role model to students.
  22. Attends and participates in all meetings such as the General Faculty Meeting and all other meetings called upon by the Dean’s Office.
  23. Attends all the JFSM events such as Opening Ceremonies, Foundation Day, Baccalaureate Mass, Commencement Execises, Christmas Party, Testimonial Guest in Board Passers and other events hosted by JFSM.
  24. Performs other duties assigned to him by his/her superior.

Qualification

Academic : Medical Doctor with at least a) Seminars in Medical Education; or b) Masteral/Doctoral units or degree in

Health Professions Education

Work Experience : with at least one (1) year work related experience;

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Php450.00 - Php700.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
