Community Moderator & Growth Volunteer

Deme is a platform where people can create and join communities around shared interests — from fandoms and hobbies to roleplay and niche topics. Our goal is to give people the tools and freedom to build the communities they want and connect with others who share the same passions.

As the platform grows, we’re building an early community team to help support users and shape the culture of the platform.

Responsibilities

As a Community Team Member, you may help with:

  • • Moderating and supporting communities on the platform
  • • Helping maintain a welcoming and positive environment for users
  • • Providing feedback on new features and updates
  • • Supporting new users as they join the platform
  • • Helping promote Deme and attract new communities

Ideal Candidates

This role may be a good fit for people who:

  • • Enjoy online communities and social platforms
  • • Have experience moderating Discord servers or similar communities
  • • Are involved in fandom, roleplay, or interest-based communities
  • • Are interested in community building or early-stage startups
