Content Developer (Curriculum) Role [Part Time | Remote]
We are a venture-backed, remote-first ed-tech startup on a mission to make learning fun for every child in the world. We are looking for passionate, detail-oriented educators to help us build the next generation of engaging learning materials for our students.
The Role: This is a creative and focused role for a true subject-matter expert. You are the Builder who brings our curriculum to life.
You will work closely with a full-time Curriculum Designer who will provide you with clear, detailed briefs for each project. Your job is to take that brief and use your pedagogical expertise to create high-quality, engaging, and error-free content. This includes lessons, slides, worksheets, revision notes, and quizzes.
This is a flexible, part-time, project-based role perfect for experienced teachers or curriculum writers.
What You'll Do:
- Develop Complete Weekly Lesson Packages for Primary 1-6 math/science, including a written lesson plan, engaging Canva slides, and an interactive Google Form homework assignment.
- Translate Pedagogical Goals from the lesson brief into clear, student-friendly learning materials.
- Create Engaging Content: Write clear explanations, create engaging activities, and design effective slides and worksheets using our pre-built templates.
- Review Lesson Recordings: Evaluate the online class experience and review factors like teacher performance, material effectiveness, and student engagement.
- Hit Deadlines: Reliably manage your own schedule to submit high-quality work on or before the project deadline.
- Work Collaboratively With Our Curriculum Designer to revise and refine all materials based on feedback, ensuring a high-quality final product that meets our deadlines.
- Required: High proficiency with Canva and Google Google Forms/Docs/Drive.
- Required: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing error-free work.
- A Subject Matter Expert: You have deep knowledge of Primary 1-Primary 6 Math/Science. Teaching experience is a plus.
- A Reliable Professional: You are a proactive communicator who thrives in a remote, asynchronous environment. You love the idea of focusing on building great content without the administrative burden of a traditional teaching job.
- Clear and organized writing skills for creating lesson plans.
- A reliable internet connection and the ability to work independently.
- Good written English skills.
- Flexible Schedule: As a project-based contractor, you choose when and where you work.
- Competitive Pay: We pay competitively, per-project.
- Focus on What You Love: We give you clear briefs so you can focus on the fun part: creating amazing learning materials.
- Be Part of a Mission: Your work will be used by students and will directly contribute to their academic success.
