AK 59 Restaurant and Café Ltd is seeking a skilled Cook to prepare authentic Arabic cuisine for its café operations in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes while maintaining food safety, consistency, and efficient kitchen operations.

Qualifications:

Male applicants are preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role.
No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
Experience preparing traditional Arabic cuisine is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
Passion for delivering high-quality food and excellent customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, season, and cook a wide variety of traditional Arabic dishes according to standard recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure all dishes are presented attractively, properly garnished, and meet the café's standards for authenticity, taste, and quality.
Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, marinating, and portioning food items before cooking.
Maintain consistency in food preparation, portion sizes, and presentation.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is safely prepared.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, equipment, and utensils.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Monitor food inventory and report shortages or ingredient requirements to management.
Work closely with café management and service staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations during busy meal periods.
Assist in menu preparation and support other kitchen duties as required.
