CPA– QuickBooks Online Specialist

Location: Philippines (Remote/Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-time (or Part-time)
Salary Range (Market Estimate): ₱60,000 – ₱120,000 per month (depending on QBO depth, years of experience, and scope)
Reports to:Director of Finance
Works Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM Pacific standard time (with 1 hour lunch)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Philippine-licensed CPA with strong hands-on experience in QuickBooks Online to support accurate bookkeeping, month-end closing, financial reporting, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain QuickBooks Online accounts (setup, cleanup, and ongoing maintenance)
  • Record and review transactions: AP/AR, journal entries, bank/credit card reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly closing schedules and supporting workpapers
  • Produce monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and variance explanations
  • Ensure accurate expense coding, class/location tracking, and documentation standards
  • Support billing, collections, vendor payments, and payment platform reconciliation
  • Assist with audit/tax preparation by organizing schedules and providing requested documents
  • Improve finance workflows (templates, controls, checklists, and SOPs)
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders on budget tracking and finance-related requests

Requirements

  • CPA license in the Philippines (active and in good standing)
  • 2+ years accounting experience
  • Strong QuickBooks Online experience is required
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and month-end closing
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting US-based companies
  • Familiarity with payroll support, multi-entity books, and intercompany entries
  • Experience with Bill.com, Gusto/ADP, Stripe, PayPal, or similar platforms
