Cyber Security Analyst (Entry level)

Location: Mandaluyong City

Work Setup: Full Onsite

Shift: Day Shift (8:00AM – 5:00PM Manila Time)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Associate to join our growing Information Security team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who are passionate about cybersecurity and eager to gain hands-on experience in enterprise security operations, cloud security, AI governance, and cyber risk management.

You will work alongside experienced cybersecurity professionals, supporting key security initiatives while building your technical knowledge through structured learning, mentorship, and real-world projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesWeb Application Firewall (WAF) Support

  • Assist in onboarding web applications and APIs to a cloud-based Web Application Firewall (WAF).
  • Support WAF monitoring, policy validation, tuning, and change requests.
  • Maintain WAF asset inventories and documentation.
  • Assist with project coordination, task tracking, milestone monitoring, risk management, and go-live activities.
  • Help develop standard operating procedures, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.
AI Security Assurance Support
  • Assist in implementing and administering AI security monitoring platforms.
  • Support continuous monitoring of AI tools and investigate policy exceptions.
  • Maintain compliance dashboards and prepare periodic security reports.
  • Assist with AI security awareness initiatives, user guidance, and policy compliance activities.
Cyber Risk Assessment & Platform Modernization
  • Support assessments of existing cyber risk processes against business requirements and security best practices.
  • Assist with vendor evaluations, RFI/RFP coordination, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Gather business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
  • Prepare evaluation summaries, comparison scorecards, and recommendation documents.
Continuous Learning
  • Complete assigned cybersecurity training and onboarding programs.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, mentoring, and team collaboration.
  • Perform other cybersecurity-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including:
  • Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA)
  • Common cyber threats and vulnerabilities
  • Basic networking and web security
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn, curiosity, and a growth mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
Preferred
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Awareness of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or OWASP Top 10.
  • Exposure to scripting (Python or PowerShell) or data tools such as Power BI or advanced Excel.
  • Relevant internships, academic projects, or cybersecurity coursework.
  • Entry-level certifications are an advantage, including:
  • CompTIA Security+
  • ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)
  • Microsoft SC-900
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner
