Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Database Administrator to work on a contract basis. The role involves managing and optimizing database systems to ensure high performance, security, and reliability. Responsibilities include database design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain database systems to meet organizational needs.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring efficient query execution and resource utilization.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks and data corruption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and data-driven decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Experience with database design, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
