Demand Planning Virtual Assistant / Executive Assistant
Schedule: Flexible part-time arrangement:
2–3 hours per day, 3 days per week; or
8–9 hours per day for one full week
Must be available during New Zealand business hours
Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Demand Planning VA/EA to support international freight coordination, supplier communication, shipment tracking, and timeline management.
The ideal candidate has experience in demand planning, supply chain, logistics, procurement, or a related field and can effectively coordinate multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate international freight and shipments.
Track shipping schedules, delivery timelines, and deadlines.
Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, production, shipment dates, and updates.
Follow up with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timelines are met.
Monitor shipment progress and promptly report potential delays or issues.
Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and supplier updates.
Assist with inventory and demand-planning administrative tasks.
Provide clear and timely updates to internal stakeholders.
Ensure orders and shipments remain aligned with required timelines.
Qualifications
Previous experience in demand planning, supply chain, logistics, procurement, or international freight.
Experience coordinating with international suppliers.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-up.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient in commonly used business and productivity tools.
