We work closely with schools, families and specialist services to make sure every pupil—particularly those with additional needs—receives the support they require during their journey. We’re seeking caring, dependable individuals to join our Growth & Environment team as Driver Attendants to support some of the county’s most vulnerable residents.</p><p>In this role, you’ll play an important part in supporting elderly service users to access their day services. Alongside driving, you’ll provide assistance, reassurance and a welcoming presence, ensuring journeys are safe, comfortable and respectful. Your support will help people remain independent, engaged and active within their local community.</p><p>About you </p><p>Essential:<br></p><ul><li>You'll be licenced to drive minibus-type vehicles with a full unrestricted D1 category licence.</li><li>You'll be a confident and safe driver.</li><li>You'll have a caring and professional approach.</li><li>You'll have experience of driving both manual and automatic vehicles.</li></ul><p>Part time hours are 25 hours per week, split shift (2.5 hours in the morning and 2.5 hours in the afternoon, Monday to Friday)</p><p>If there are no vacancies in your preferred team/location, please continue to make an application and we will add you to a waiting list.
