eCommerce & Marketplace Product Listing Specialist

Overview

Our client is looking for a highly detail-oriented Data Entry & Product Upload Specialist to manage product listings across their website and third-party marketplaces, including Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, Wayfair, Walmart, and TikTok Shop. This role focuses on accurate product setup, data integrity, and consistency across all platforms. This is an execution-focused role centered on accuracy, consistency, and efficiency. Familiarity with listing optimization or SEO is a plus, but not required.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time with a 1-hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
  • Upload and manage product listings across Shopify and third-party marketplaces
  • Accurately enter and maintain product data, including titles, descriptions, SKUs, pricing, variations, alt text, and specifications
  • Format listings according to each platform’s structure and requirements
  • Upload and organize product images, ensuring proper naming, placement, and compliance with platform guidelines
  • Perform quality checks to ensure listings are accurate, complete, and consistent across all channels
  • Update listings for pricing, inventory, content, and product changes
  • Execute bulk uploads using CSV files and platform-specific templates
  • Maintain organized and structured product data in spreadsheets or internal systems
  • Troubleshoot listing errors, upload issues, or suppressed products
  • Execute detail-heavy tasks with speed, accuracy, and consistency
  • Follow SOPs and structured workflows precisely
  • Identify, document, and clearly communicate issues or inconsistencies
Requirements Must-Have Requirements
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience managing product listings in Shopify and/or multi-channel marketplace environments, including product variations and structured data
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify
  • Direct experience using two or more marketplace seller platforms (e.g., Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Seller Center, Etsy Shop Manager, Wayfair Partner Home)
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Ability to handle repetitive, detail-heavy tasks efficiently without sacrificing quality
  • Ability to strictly follow SOPs and structured workflows
  • Strong communication skills, especially in identifying and clearly flagging issues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
Nice to Have
  • Experience working across multiple marketplaces simultaneously
  • Experience with bulk uploads (CSV files, templates)
  • Basic understanding of listing optimization or SEO
  • Basic image editing skills (Photoshop, Canva, etc.)
