The Role
OpenTrain is seeking an Electrical Engineering Assessment Reviewer for graduate-level exam content and technical model evaluation. You will write single-option exam questions, prepare detailed explanations and grading rubrics, review AI-generated technical content, and provide nuanced feedback on model reasoning and correctness.
This opportunity is categorized as entry level within AI training, but it requires advanced electrical engineering credentials, university-level teaching experience, and experience with graduate-level assessments or coursework.

What You'll Do
You will help refine the quality of advanced engineering assessment content and contribute to a growing question bank built around rigorous electrical engineering reasoning.
- Write graduate-level multiple-choice questions in electrical engineering.
- Develop detailed explanations for assessment questions.
- Create precise grading rubrics that support consistent evaluation.
- Review AI-generated electrical engineering content for technical accuracy.
- Assess the pedagogical strength of AI-generated technical material.
- Evaluate model outputs for reasoning quality and correctness.
- Provide nuanced, constructive feedback on model responses.

Requirements
This role requires strong academic and practical familiarity with electrical engineering assessment content. Applicants should be able to communicate complex technical ideas clearly and evaluate both correctness and instructional quality.
- PhD or advanced master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- University-level teaching experience as a professor, adjunct, lecturer, or teaching assistant.
- Experience authoring or reviewing graduate-level exams, assessments, or coursework.
- Strong knowledge in one or more of analog circuits, digital circuits, RF, or power electronics with IC focus.
- Strong written communication with clarity and academic rigor.
- Ability to create clear grading rubrics and detailed explanations.
- Comfort working independently and collaborating remotely and asynchronously.
