Finance Supervisor - General Accounting (BGC, Taguig City)
The General Accounting is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings, maintaining the integrity of accounting records, and supporting financial reporting requirements. The role will also involve account reconciliation, audit coordination, and supervision of day-to-day general ledger operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field. At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, or related fields. Experience in E-Commerce or Logistics is a plus.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger functions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure accurate and timely posting of journal entries and adjustments. Oversee monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with internal controls. Coordinate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues. Assist in preparation for internal and external audits, ensuring timely submission of audit schedules. Develop, implement, and improve accounting procedures and policies related to the general ledger. Monitor fixed asset accounting, accruals, and other key balance sheet items. Review and approve general ledger account reconciliations prepared by staff. Lead and mentor general ledger accounting staff, including training and performance evaluations. Support the Finance Manager and other senior leaders with ad-hoc reports and analysis. Perform other related duties as assigned.
