Job Description: Summary Fixed Income Middle Office serves as a key link between Sales & Trading and supporting functions across the trade lifecycle. The team supports major financial hubs including Singapore, Tokyo, London, Dublin, Toronto, and New York. Working with stakeholders across the organization, the team is responsible for trade capture, issue investigation, risk monitoring, and maintaining a robust control framework throughout the trade lifecycle. Based on the trading floor, the Fixed Income Middle Office Associate works directly with traders and provides dedicated day-to-day support to Sales & Trading. The role serves as a key point of coordination across trade capture, execution support, and lifecycle management for fixed income and derivative products, while resolving complex trade and operational issues. It requires strong analytical skills, sound judgement, and effective collaboration with stakeholders across global teams. Job Role/Responsibilities • Be a key partner to Sales & Trading desks, taking ownership of trade capture and ensuring effective trade lifecycle management across fixed income and derivative products. • Investigate and resolve complex trade discrepancies involving positions, P&L, risk exposures, and market events, ensuring issues are identified, understood, and escalated where appropriate. • Develop a deep understanding of fixed income products and market events, becoming a trusted point of contact for trade-related queries from front office and support partners. • Provide independent oversight and challenge by identifying anomalies, investigating control-related issues, and escalating material concerns that could impact trading activity, financial reporting, or regulatory obligations. • Collaborate with colleagues across Trading, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and global Middle Office teams to resolve issues, enhance processes, and support the evolving needs of the business. • Drive continuous improvement by challenging existing processes, enhancing controls, and identifying opportunities to automate manual activities and improve operational efficiency. Products & Systems Products: • Bonds • Interest Rate Derivatives • FX Products Systems: • Markitwire • Calypso • Bloomberg • Murex • ION Required Qualifications • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Fixed Income • Strong understanding of fixed income products and trade lifecycle • Strong Excel skills (data analysis, reconciliation, reporting) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with front office and support teams Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting fixed income products within platforms such as Calypso, Murex, MarkitWire, Bloomberg, or equivalent trading and trade management systems. • Exposure to P&L and risk monitoring processes. • Experience with process improvement and automation initiatives.
