Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Freelance Healthcare Business Development Specialist in Newcastle with a background as a Care Manager to join our innovative local agency startup. In this role, you will leverage your healthcare expertise and sales acumen to build strong relationships with community partners, healthcare providers/ Care Homes, and potential clients. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding our services and establishing a trusted presence in the local healthcare landscape. Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare community to grow the agency’s client base.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and referral sources to facilitate service partnerships.
  • Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track leads, manage contacts, and monitor sales pipelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor service offerings based on client needs and market trends.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions, follow-ups, and progress within CRM systems for transparency and strategic planning.
  • Provide insights and feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Care Manager or similar healthcare role with strong knowledge of patient care coordination and healthcare systems.
  • Demonstrated success in business development or sales within the healthcare sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while meeting targets and deadlines.
  • Ability to understand complex healthcare regulations and translate them into effective outreach strategies.
