Job Summary

We are looking for a French Outreach Specialist to lead our PR and media outreach across France. In this role, you will build relationships with French journalists, editors, and publications, craft compelling pitches in fluent French, and secure high-quality coverage that grows brand visibility and authority. The ideal candidate is a native or fluent French speaker with a strong understanding of the French media landscape and a proven track record in PR, digital PR, or media outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and build targeted media lists of French journalists, publications, and online outlets
  • Write and send personalized outreach pitches in native-level French
  • Develop and maintain relationships with French media contacts and editors
  • Secure press features, coverage, and online placements within French media
  • Follow up consistently to improve response and conversion rates
  • Track outreach campaigns, monitor coverage, and report on results
  • Identify relevant French outlets and outreach opportunities aligned with campaign goals
  • Tailor messaging and angles to resonate with French audiences and editorial standards
  • Maintain organized records of contacts, pitches, and secured placements
Mandatory Skills:
  • Native or fluent French, written and spoken — essential for pitching French media
  • Professional working proficiency in English for team coordination and reporting
  • Proven experience in PR, media outreach, or digital PR
  • Strong understanding of the French media landscape within France
  • Excellent persuasive writing and pitching skills in French
  • Experience building and managing media or contact lists
  • Dependable, detail-focused, and able to work independently
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in digital PR or link-building outreach
  • Familiarity with SEO and how PR supports online visibility
  • Hands-on experience with outreach or CRM tools (e.g., BuzzStream, Pitchbox, or similar)
  • Ability to manage multiple outreach campaigns at once
  • Background working within an agency or in-house PR team
