Game Tester

Job Title: GAME TESTER WITH EXPERIENCE IN BOTH SYSTEM AND GAME

Job Responsibilities

  1. Execute manual testing for games, platforms, and internal systems
  2. Perform functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing
  3. Test gameplay mechanics, UI/UX, multiplayer features, audio, and graphics
  4. Conduct system testing for web-based and internal applications
  5. Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
  6. Reproduce reported issues and verify fixes
  7. Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers
  8. Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  9. Perform cross-device and cross-platform testing (PC, mobile, console, browsers)
  10. Provide quality assessment and risk reports before deployment
  11. Ensure compliance with gaming and software quality standards

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
  2. 1–3 years experience in Game Testing and System/Software Testing
  3. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies
  4. Experience with manual testing tools and bug tracking systems
  5. Knowledge of test case creation and documentation
  6. Basic understanding of coding/scripting is a plus
  7. Familiar with performance testing and load testing concepts
  8. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  9. Excellent communication and reporting skills
  10. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  11. Willingness to work flexible hours during major game releases

Preferred Skills

  1. Experience testing mobile games, PC games, or console games
  2. Knowledge of automation testing tools (Selenium, Appium, etc.)
  3. Experience testing online/multiplayer features
  4. Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine environments
  5. Knowledge in API testing
  6. Understanding of UI/UX principles for games and systems

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
