Global Newsroom Content Specialist – 6 Month Contract
Job Description:
- Build and launch an editorial operations tracker in Monday covering the full Newsroom and podcast pipeline
- Own day-to-day CMS publishing, applying metadata, tagging, alt text, and formatting checklists
- Manage the editorial calendar and tracking system for the leadership social content program
- Design and launch a structured story intake system for GTM, product, and marketing teams
- Extend the tracker to cover a season of the Prompted podcast, including scheduling, contributor coordination, internal communications, and cross-team dependencies
- Build a performance reporting dashboard combining Newsroom, podcast, and leadership social metrics
- Document SOPs and recommendations for the next 6–12 months
- Coordinate shoots, executive scheduling, video editor turnaround, approvals, and stakeholder dependencies
Requirements:
- Task-tracking expertise and ability to bring order to fast-moving programs
- CMS experience, ideally publishing on an editorial or news-style site
- Experience coordinating shoots, booking executive time, liaising with video editors, and tracking turnaround
- Persistence and diplomacy in chasing approvals across multiple stakeholders
- Working knowledge of SEO/AEO basics, including metadata, alt text, and tagging
- Ability to stay calm under pressure while managing fast-moving news cycles and shifting schedules
- Availability of approximately 30–40 hours per week
