Type: Part-time Contractor
Hours: 10–15 hours per week to start
Location: Remote
Rate: Php 500-800/hrWe are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Google Workspace IT Admin & Cybersecurity Support Specialist to support our remote team’s day-to-day IT operations and security.
This is a part-time contractor role ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, security-conscious, and confident working within the Google Admin Console.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage Google Workspace email accounts
- Create, suspend, and offboard users properly
- Manage Google Groups, shared inboxes, aliases, and forwarding rules
- Troubleshoot Gmail, login, access, and permission issues
- Enforce and monitor 2-Step Verification across the team
- Review suspicious login alerts and account activity
- Manage Google Drive sharing settings and permissions
- Support domain, DNS, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC setup
- Maintain a clear access tracker for team members and tools
- Support onboarding and offboarding access checklists
- Review admin roles and make sure access is not overexposed
- Help create simple IT and cybersecurity SOPs
- Train team members on phishing, password safety, and secure access
- Support urgent access issues when they affect client work or internal operations
- Strong experience using Google Admin Console
- Experience managing Google Workspace for a remote team
- Understanding of Gmail security, MFA, phishing risks, and account permissions
- Basic DNS knowledge, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
- Experience with password management tools such as LastPass, 1Password, or Bitwarden
- Strong documentation skills
- High attention to detail
- Trustworthy with sensitive access and client-related systems
- Experience supporting VA agencies, BPOs, offshore teams, or remote service businesses
- Familiarity with Slack, Canva, Asana, Shopify, WordPress, and CRM tools
- Experience doing basic cybersecurity audits
- Experience creating IT policies, access checklists, and incident response steps
- All team email accounts are set up correctly
- Access is removed immediately when someone leaves
- MFA is properly enforced
- Google Drive sharing is safer and controlled
- Email security settings are properly configured
- The team knows how to report phishing or suspicious activity
- The founder and ops team are no longer the default IT department
