We have partnered with a Teaching Practice in South-East London who are excited to welcome a new Health care Assistant to their friendly and enthusiastic team. With a commitment to providing high-quality primary care services to a patient population of over 20,000 patients, complemented by enthusiastic and friendly team. Position Details:

  • Job Title: Health Care Assistant
  • Job Type: Full time hours available from Monday – Friday
  • Location: South East London
  • Salary: £25,000 – £31,000 per annum with an extensive benefits package including personal development opportunities (CPD leave entitlement) plus NHS pension, 5 weeks annual leave + bank holidays, on-site parking and much more.
  • Team: Supported by 9 GPs, 6 Practice Nurses plus a large complement of PCN clinical staff and hard-working admin team.
  • High QOF achievement, Good CQC rating, and Emis Web practice who are very proud of its achievements with quality patient care being their key focus.

About You:

  • Experience: Working as a Healthcare Assistant in a GP Practice, Care Certificate or Equivalent, Good General Education to GCSE level and Good level of IT Literacy.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, effective time management, ability to work autonomously and as a team member.
  • Personal Qualities: Polite, confident, motivated, forward thinker, problem solver, high levels of integrity and loyalty, sensitive and empathetic.

Main Duties:

  • Health Assessments for newly registered patients, NHS Health checks
  • Vaccinations (under instruction of Medical Practioner), Phlebotomy, and Wound Management
  • Assist with Minor Surgery Procedures
  • Participate in stock takes / ordering of supplies.
