The DCX Client Services - Home-Based Art Processor will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. This role is responsible for managing artwork and order workflows, preparing customer-supplied files for production, resolving artwork issues, and ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time. You will work closely with production, art, and customer service teams to ensure files meet production specifications across different print methods.

REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing and preparing artwork.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple orders and workflow queues simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly when resolving artwork and production issues.
  • Strong understanding of production artwork requirements and print specifications.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manage order queues/workflow
  • Check and process orders to production and art teams
  • Prepare orders for production using print-ready specs for different print methods
  • Fixing / adjusting files for production
  • Resolve issues regarding client-supplied art files
  • Address order queries from art teams
  • Create virtual mockups and check art specifications
  • Keep organized detailed logs of orders and issues
  • Digitally process proofing department queues and emails (process, assign dates, work with CS)

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Art Production, Graphic Design, Prepress, Production Art, Artwork Processing, or a related role.
  • Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.
  • Working Schedule: Ability to work within US operating hours.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, with strong emphasis on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Industry Specific Software/Knowledge:
  • Experience recreating and vectorizing logos for production.
  • Knowledge of preparing artwork with proper bleeds and print-ready specifications.
  • Experience creating virtual mockups and product visuals.
  • Understanding of artwork requirements for different print and decoration methods.
  • Ability to review client-supplied artwork and identify production issues.
  • Experience preparing files for production and proofing workflows.
  • Familiarity with managing art queues, order queues, and proofing department workflows.
  • Strong ability to maintain detailed logs and documentation for orders and artwork issues.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
