HOME HEALTH MEDICAL CODERS
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Home Health Medical Coder to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate coding and compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities
- Analyze patients’ charts thoroughly to ensure accurate coding
- Utilize specialized medical classification software to assign diagnosis codes
- Assign codes to diagnoses using ICD-10-CM codes in accordance with PDGM guidelines by CMS
- Enter coding information into an online system
- Ensure codes are accurate and properly sequenced based on government and insurance regulations
- Follow up with providers regarding incomplete or unclear documentation
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff about documentation requirements
- Research complex or unusual coding cases as needed
- Stay updated on changes in coding rules and regulations
- Manage detailed and highly specific coded data
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and data security
- Ensure all codes used are current and valid
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Home Health coding
- Experience with Plan of Care (POC) and OASIS Review
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required
- HCS-O or HCS-D certification is a plus
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team

Pay: Php45,000.00 - Php65,000.00 per month
