Homebased Research Nurse (Clinical Trials) - 20 hours a week

SUMMARY

Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Home-Based Research Nurse to support clinical trial recruitment by conducting patient eligibility screenings. This is a Part-time job for 20 hours a week.

In this role, you will assess potential participants remotely to determine their suitability for inclusion in clinical studies, ensuring adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards.

This is a patient-facing role requiring strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct remote patient screenings (telephone/video) to assess eligibility for clinical trials based on protocol-specific inclusion and exclusion criteria
  • Review medical histories, medications, and diagnostic information to determine trial suitability
  • Explain clinical trial participation clearly and answer basic patient queries (non-promotional, non-coercive)
  • Ensure all screening activities comply with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) , ethical guidelines, and data privacy regulations
  • Accurately document screening outcomes in clinical systems and maintain detailed records
  • Liaise with investigators, clinical research coordinators, and recruitment teams to support enrolment targets
  • Escalate any medical concerns or adverse findings appropriately
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure secure handling of sensitive health information
  • Stay up to date with trial protocols, therapeutic area knowledge, and regulatory changes
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, unrestricted license
  • Must speak English and Ilocano
  • Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience (e.g., hospital, primary care, or specialist setting)
  • Experience in clinical research, patient screening, or trial recruitment
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and GCP
  • Excellent verbal communication and patient engagement skills
DURATION Full-time, 6-12month contract - likely to extend beyond this

Part-time - 20 hours a week

Attractive hourly pay rate
