HR Executive (Payroll & Operations)

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented HR Executive to support our F&B operations. The role will cover recruitment, payroll, employee relations, work pass administration, and general HR operations.

The candidate must have strong experience in handling high-volume payroll and be comfortable working closely with outlet staff and the Operations team.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Manpower

  • Manage recruitment from sourcing to onboarding for F&B outlet staff.

  • Source candidates through job portals, referrals, social media, job fairs, and other channels.

  • Work closely with Operations to fulfil manpower requirements.

  • Handle Work Pass applications, renewals, and cancellations.

  • Coordinate repatriation of foreign workers when required.

Payroll & HR Administration

  • Process monthly payroll for a high headcount accurately and on time.

  • Handle salary, overtime, allowances, incentives, commissions, deductions, and unpaid leave.

  • Prepare IR8A and IR21 where required.

  • Maintain employee records, payroll records, and bank details.

  • Monitor contract and work pass expiry dates.

  • Prepare HR reports such as headcount, turnover, and absenteeism.

  • Reconcile payroll and resolve discrepancies.

Employee Relations

  • Handle employee queries on salary, leave, benefits, employment terms, and HR policies.

  • Conduct regular outlet visits and engage with staff.

  • Assist with employee grievances, disciplinary cases, investigations, and warning letters.

  • Work with Operations Managers to resolve employee-related issues.

HR Compliance

  • Ensure HR practices comply with Singapore employment laws and MOM requirements.

  • Maintain proper and confidential employee records.

  • Ensure timely renewal of work passes and employment contracts.

  • Keep updated on relevant employment regulations.

F&B Operations Support

  • Work closely with outlet managers and Operations on manpower matters.

  • Support onboarding and deployment of new employees.

  • Assist with employee engagement activities.

  • Provide HR support to outlets when required.

General HR Support

  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives.

  • Assist in organizing staff activities and events.

  • Prepare HR letters, reports, and other documents.

  • Perform other HR duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of HR experience.

  • High-volume payroll experience is a MUST.

  • Experience in F&B, hospitality, or retail is preferred.

  • Good knowledge of Singapore employment regulations.

  • Experience in payroll, recruitment, employee relations, and work pass administration.

  • Familiar with HR/payroll systems such as StaffAny or Info-Tech is an advantage.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

  • Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
