The primary responsibility involves assisting in the creation of user-facing features, building reusable components, and optimizing application performance across both front-end and back-end environments. This role serves as a learning-focused position to bridge the gap between academic theory and professional full-stack development. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Web Design & Front-End - Assist in conceptualizing designs for web applications and internal tools. - Transform app designs into functional front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React/Next.js). - Collaborate with the team to improve overall usability and user experience. Backend Development - Build and maintain web solutions for internal and external users (PHP & Laravel). - Support the development of processing features and reusable components. - Assist in database initialization, creation, and maintenance (Postgres/Laravel). - Perform and document sanitation and cleanups of codebase to ensure maintainability. - Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) testing to ensure stability and robustness. Update and Maintenance - Evaluate code to ensure proper structure and compatibility across different devices. - Validate test routines and mimic external interfaces for comprehensive testing. - Participate in research regarding emerging technologies to keep the stack modern. Learning & Performance Goals As this is an internship, the candidate will be expected to: - Technical Growth - Gain proficiency in the React/Laravel/Postgres stack. - Professionalism - Understand "Maker vs. Manager" scheduling and agile workflows. - Code Quality - Learn to write "sanitized" and documented code for team collaboration. Additional Duties - Assist different facets/teams under Technology with various developer-related tasks as assigned. - Generate progress reports and documentation as requested by the Immediate Supervisor. - Perform other supportive tasks as instructed to aid the development lifecycle.
