Employment Type: Full-time A key responsibility of this role is to develop architects and architectural practices as long-term partners by introducing our Affordable Luxury whole-home customisation solutions.
We bridge the gap between conventional local carpentry and high-end European furniture by combining globally sourced premium materials and hardware, including brands such as CLEAF, Blum and BASISTEM, with Singapore-based design and high-quality manufacturing in China. Our solutions are tailored specifically to Singapore homes and lifestyles, delivering refined design, quality and functionality at a commercially sensible price point.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate this value proposition confidently to architects, with a strong understanding of interior design, materials, customisation and project requirements.
Job Scope
Architect Channel Development
- Identify and develop relationships with architects and architectural practices in Singapore.
- Build a structured pipeline of target architectural firms and key architect relationships.
- Establish long-term partnerships that generate qualified residential project opportunities.
- Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and product or solution introductions with architects.
- Understand architects' upcoming projects, client profiles, design requirements, and project pipelines.
- Engage architects early in the design process to identify opportunities for our products and whole-home solutions.
- Develop architect accounts from initial contact into active, revenue-generating partnerships.
- Maintain regular engagement and systematically follow up on project opportunities.
- Grow the architect channel into a sustainable and scalable source of revenue.
- Own and achieve agreed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline from both architect-generated opportunities and direct customer leads.
- Take responsibility for opportunities from initial engagement through proposal, negotiation, contract signing, and payment.
- Monitor pipeline value, conversion rates, average project value, and sales performance.
- Follow up proactively and consistently to move opportunities toward closing.
- Negotiate commercial terms within agreed parameters.
- Take clear ownership of revenue results rather than focusing solely on relationship development or lead generation.
- Attend to scheduled appointments and qualified online leads visiting the showroom.
- Conduct customer consultations independently.
- Understand customer requirements and review their floor plans.
- Introduce relevant materials, finishes, products, cabinetry, and whole-home solutions.
- Develop an initial solution and design direction with the customer.
- Prepare or coordinate proposals and quotations.
- Follow up after the showroom consultation.
- Convert qualified enquiries into signed projects.
- Own the customer relationship after signing rather than simply handing the lead to another salesperson.
- Project Follow-Through
- Ensure that customer requirements, design intent, scope, budget, and commitments are clearly handed over to the internal team.
- Coordinate with designers, project teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders throughout the project.
- Follow key design development, production, installation, and delivery milestones.
- Maintain the customer relationship throughout project execution.
- Support the resolution of customer, design, and commercial issues when required.
- Ensure that the solution sold to the customer is successfully translated into the final delivered project.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Spatial Design, Built Environment, or a related discipline.
- Proven sales or business development experience in interior design, renovation, whole-home customisation, cabinetry, architectural products, building materials, or a related sector. Fresh graduates from related majors are welcome to apply.
- Existing networks within Singapore's architecture and design community would be a strong advantage.
- Experience developing relationships with architects, interior designers, or other design professionals is strongly preferred.
- Good knowledge of interior design, residential renovation, or whole-home customisation.
- Ability to read floor plans and understand basic design and technical requirements.
- Strong solution-selling and consultative sales skills.
- Strong presentation, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing capabilities.
- Commercially driven with strong follow-up discipline.
- High level of ownership and accountability.
- Comfortable working directly with both design professionals and homeowners.
- Availability to work on Saturdays is required, with rest days arranged accordingly.
