Internship - SWE (PH ONLY)

Duration: 3 Months

Location: Hybrid (Philippines)

At oboda, we're building the AI-native inventory platform that powers the fastest-growing distributors in the Philippines.

We're looking for software engineering interns who want more than bug fixes and documentation. You'll build production features, work directly with customers, leverage the latest AI tooling, and own projects from idea to deployment.

What You'll Do

  • Build production-ready features used by real businesses.
  • Own end-to-end projects - from understanding customer problems to shipping solutions.
  • Develop AI-powered workflows using modern LLMs and AI APIs.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Customer Success, and fellow engineers.
  • Participate in customer calls and field visits to understand real operational challenges.
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
  • Ship frequently and measure the impact of what you build.
What You'll Learn
  • Building software with modern AI tools (Claude Code, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, etc.)

What We're Looking For
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field.

  • Comfortable learning new technologies quickly.
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, or similar technologies is a plus.
  • Curious about AI and excited to build with LLMs.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work across teams.
  • Takes ownership and enjoys figuring things out independently.
Bonus Points
  • Built personal projects or shipped something people actually use.
  • Experience with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or other AI APIs.
  • Experience with databases, cloud platforms, or DevOps.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Experience participating in hackathons.
