This is a permanent work-from-home opportunity, allowing you to enjoy the flexibility and convenience of working from home while collaborating with a close-knit and highly supportive team. </p> <p>Our Accounting and Finance team is made up of smart, driven, friendly, and fun-loving professionals who believe that enjoying the people we work with is an important part of building a great workplace. </p> <p><strong><br></strong></p> <p><strong>Your Growth Journey at Safari </strong></p> <p>This role works the <strong>night shift </strong>(11:00 PM – 8:00 AM Philippine Time) and reports directly to our COO alongside the rest of our Accounting and Finance team. </p> <p>As a Junior Accountant, your first responsibility will be to understand how our business operates—from our revenue and expense cycles to our overall financial reporting process. You will receive guidance and mentorship from an experienced team as you gradually take on greater ownership and more complex accounting responsibilities. </p> <p>We are looking for someone who doesn’t just complete assigned tasks but is eager to ask questions, continuously learn, and look for ways to improve processes. If you have the bandwidth and desire to expand your knowledge beyond your immediate responsibilities, we will encourage and support your growth. </p> <p></p> <p><strong>What You Will Do </strong></p> <p>As you develop in the role, your responsibilities may include: </p> <ul><li>Learn and effectively utilize our accounting ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central </li></ul> <ul><li>Support daily accounting operations and financial transactions </li></ul> <ul><li>Assist with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and financial reporting </li></ul> <ul><li>Prepare and review bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and other account reconciliations </li></ul> <ul><li>Assist with commission reporting and financial analysis </li></ul> <ul><li>Support the review and analysis of Accounts Payable Aging, Accounts Receivable Aging, and Gross Profit reconciliations </li></ul> <ul><li>Collaborate with U.S.-based employees, including our sales teams, to provide financial and operational information they need to perform their roles effectively </li></ul> <ul><li>Identify opportunities to improve existing processes through automation, efficiency improvements, and thoughtful suggestions </li></ul> <p></p> <p>This list is not all-inclusive.
