This is not a traditional tutoring role!

As a Student Life Coach with FindTutors, you'll support young people with confidence, mindset, motivation, and personal growth, helping them become the best version of themselves.

What Is a FindTutors Student Life Coach? - At FindTutors, our Student Life Coaches go beyond grades.

Private lessons and tutors for hundreds of subjects in the areas of (- information taken from your website):

  • Language lessons
  • Science lessons
  • Tuition for school students and Exam preparation
  • Computer Science and Technology lessons
  • Music, Art, and Sports
  • Economy and Business and Humanities

You'll work one-to-one online with students to help them:

  • Manage academic stress and overwhelm
  • Set and achieve meaningful personal and academic goals
  • Build self-confidence and resilience
  • Master time management and organisation
  • Develop a positive, growth-focused mindset
  • Unlock their full potential - academically and personally

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging online one-to-one coaching sessions with students across the UK
  • Help students identify goals and create practical plans to achieve them
  • Reach effective study habits, focus techniques, and time management strategies
  • Foster self-belief, motivation, and positive thinking in every session
  • Support students in developing healthy approaches to stress and pressure
  • Track student progress and celebrate milestones along the way
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental coaching environment

What We're Looking For:

Essential Qualities:

  • Teaching or Tutoring - Degree or teaching qualification. Direct transferable skills.
  • Wellbeing or Mental Health - Deep understanding of student pressures
  • Sports or Youth Coaching - Motivational and goal-setting expertise
  • Parenting or Caring - Natural empathy and patience
  • Recent Graduate or Student - Relatable, current experience of academic life
  • Any People-Focused Role - HR, customer service, social work, charity sector
