About The Role Our client is seeking an experienced Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own the execution, optimization, and performance of its email and SMS marketing ecosystem. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, this role will drive customer engagement, retention, and revenue across both e-commerce and education businesses through sophisticated lifecycle marketing strategies, automation, segmentation, and conversion optimization.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who combines analytical thinking with strong marketing instincts and enjoys building customer journeys that deliver measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and optimize lifecycle email and SMS marketing strategies across multiple business units.
  • Develop customer journeys that improve engagement, retention, customer lifetime value, and revenue.
  • Build and manage automated marketing workflows from acquisition through long-term retention.
  • Create and execute campaign calendars for launches, promotions, webinars, educational content, and evergreen campaigns.
  • Develop advanced customer segmentation and personalized messaging strategies.
  • Build and optimize automation including welcome, nurture, abandoned cart, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back, onboarding, and upsell campaigns.
  • Conduct ongoing A/B testing across messaging, creative, timing, offers, CTAs, and customer segments.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations based on analytics.
  • Build dashboards and report on key email and SMS marketing KPIs.
  • Manage and optimize Klaviyo and HubSpot marketing platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, creative, paid media, social media, web development, and external partners to ensure consistent customer experiences.
  • Stay current on lifecycle marketing trends, platform enhancements, and marketing technology best practices.
Competencies And Qualifications Must-Have
  • 5+ years of lifecycle, email, and SMS marketing experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Klaviyo, including SMS marketing and compliance.
  • Experience using HubSpot including SMS marketing and compliance
  • Expertise in customer lifecycle strategy, segmentation, and personalization.
  • Proven experience building and optimizing marketing automation workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting marketing performance data.
  • Experience managing A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
  • Strong direct-response copywriting skills.
  • Experience supporting e-commerce businesses.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience supporting high-ticket sales funnels.
  • Background in health & wellness, supplements, functional medicine, education, coaching, or membership businesses.
  • Experience with AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs).
