Manager of Product & Student Experience
The Product Manager will own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution of the MyThorneAI platform. This role serves as the bridge between customers, students, educators, customer success, sales, and the software development team.
The Product Manager will identify opportunities to improve student engagement, increase platform adoption, enhance accessibility, and ensure the product delivers measurable career readiness outcomes.
This role is highly collaborative and works closely with the CEO, CTO, developers, designers, and customer-facing teams to bring new features and improvements from concept to launch.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Roadmap
- Develop and maintain the MyThorneAI product roadmap.
- Prioritize features based on customer feedback, business objectives, and student outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve engagement, retention, and platform effectiveness.
- Align product initiatives with company growth goals and customer needs.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
- Gather feedback from:
- Students
- Teachers
- School administrators
- Workforce partners
- Vocational Rehabilitation stakeholders
- Analyze pilot program results and customer feedback.
- Translate customer insights into product requirements and enhancements.
- Conduct interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Write detailed product requirements documents (PRDs).
- Create user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver features.
- Participate in sprint planning and product reviews.
- Ensure products are launched on time and meet quality standards.
- Improve user experience for general education students and students with disabilities.
- Collaborate on accessibility initiatives, including:
- IDD-friendly learning pathways
- Read-aloud functionality
- Simplified learning experiences
- Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles
- Monitor student engagement metrics and recommend improvements.
- Track key product metrics including:
- Student engagement
- Lesson completion rates
- User retention
- Career pathway progression
- Resume completion rates
- Interview simulation usage
- Use data to guide product decisions and roadmap priorities.

- 3+ years of Product Management experience.
- Experience managing SaaS or EdTech products.
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.

- Ability to translate customer feedback into actionable product improvements.
