GRC maintains the enterprise risk framework, provides oversight and challenge, and monitors key risks. By embedding risk discipline into strategy and operations, GRC enables responsible growth, innovation, and long-term value creation while protecting customers and shareholders. The Operational Risk Management (ORM) team facilitates and monitors the implementation of effective operational risk management programs throughout the company, and oversees risk ownership throughout business units, products, and processes. Operational Risk Management is looking for a Manager of Testing, Monitoring, Aggregation and Reporting to manage a diverse team of high-performing professionals focused on ensuring effective operational risk management is embedded in the day-to-day operations of our organization. It will involve extensive collaboration with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies. Responsibilities The Manager, Operational Risk Management (ORM), Independent Monitoring and Testing: • Manage an independent testing and monitoring program based on an annual risk assessed plan and testing methodology • Develop a comprehensive universe of targeted coverage for operational risk that supports a risk-based annual plan • Conduct independent, risk-based testing and monitoring by analyzing operational risks, trends, and issues to prioritize reviews. Collaborate with first-line teams to evaluate business activities and controls, leading walkthroughs to enhance the control environment. • Independently monitor operational risk trends and activities • Manage and perform an effective challenge process based on a defined criteria and build in to annual plan • Manage independent 2LoD testing of ORs, incl. integration of methodologies and test plans to address interconnected risks • Proactively identify areas for high risk for intervention • Drive reporting to the Enterprise Risk Management Committee, Board of Directors and Senior Management on OR topics • Be a key leader for sharing insights, better practices, themes, etc. across the enterprise. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: • 4+ Years experience in operational risk management (e.g., within Risk and/or Internal Audit function) Understanding of critical operational risk management and testing lifecycle activities • Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills • Experience in process governance, with an understanding of processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Mgmt., Accountancy etc. or related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc) or certifications are advantageous • Experience in at least one of the following: • Translating operational risk strategy and appetite into execution guidelines • Oversee the implementation of the operational risk governance frameworks • Communicating and ensuring understanding and adherence to operational risk procedures and standards • Manage the operational risk exam management processes • Experience in financial services industry Additional Details: • Location: BGC Corporate Center 2, 5th Avenue corner 30th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig • Workplace Flexibility: Full time.
