Marketing & Social Media Virtual Assistant

Job Summary

We are a boutique luxury travel business seeking a seasoned Marketing & Social Media Virtual Assistant to grow our online presence, drive outreach, and keep daily operations running smoothly. You'll create engaging social content, run lead generation and email outreach, and provide general administrative support — using AI tools to work faster and smarter. The ideal candidate is a creative, highly organized self-starter with excellent written English and real fluency with AI writing tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging social media content across major platforms to grow reach and engagement
  • Design on-brand graphics and visuals that showcase luxury travel experiences and destinations
  • Draft captions, posts, and copy using AI tools (such as Claude) to speed up production while maintaining a polished, on-brand voice
  • Run lead generation and outreach campaigns to attract prospective clients and partners
  • Manage and respond to email and inbox correspondence, keeping communication timely and professional
  • Provide general administrative support, including scheduling, research, and data organization
  • Research destinations, hotels, and travel trends to inform content and outreach
  • Track leads, engagement, and campaign performance, and suggest improvements
  • Collaborate directly with the founder to align on brand voice, priorities, and strategy
Mandatory Skills:
  • Proven experience as a social media or marketing virtual assistant
  • Strong fluency with AI tools (especially Claude) for content creation, research, and workflow efficiency
  • Hands-on experience creating and scheduling social media content using tools such as Canva and social scheduling platforms
  • Experience with lead generation and email outreach
  • Excellent written English with a polished, professional tone
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Dependable, detail-focused, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in luxury travel, hospitality, or another premium-service industry
  • Familiarity with travel-advisor, booking, or itinerary platforms
  • Graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or similar)
  • Experience with email marketing and/or CRM tools
  • Background in lead generation or LinkedIn outreach
  • Personal interest in travel and hospitality
