Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Taguig for a News Proofreader/Content Writer/Editor, with no prior experience required. The role involves reviewing news content for spelling, grammar, and style consistency, ensuring accuracy and clarity before publication.

The individual will write and refine news articles and related content, aligning with editorial guidelines and audience expectations. Day-to-day tasks include proofreading, basic editing, and organizing content, as well as coordinating with team members for fact-checking and timely delivery. The role may also involve supporting translation or localization efforts and maintaining documentation in line with internal quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail with solid skills in spelling, grammar, and proofreading.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with editorial and content teams.
  • Basic translation capabilities or interest in learning translation for news and related content.
  • Good reading comprehension and analytical skills for reviewing and improving written materials.
  • Comfort with fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and willingness to learn editorial standards.
