About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Online Part Time Math Tutor to join our team at Nexus Math Learning . This part-time role will involve providing high-quality online tutoring services to students . As an important member of our education team, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic progress and helping them achieve their full potential in mathematics.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering engaging and effective online math tutoring sessions to individual students or small groups

  • Assessing students' strengths, weaknesses, and learning needs to develop customised lesson plans

  • Providing personalised feedback and guidance to help students improve their math skills

  • Collaborating with parents and teachers to ensure a holistic approach to student learning

  • Maintaining detailed records of student progress and session notes

  • Participating in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in online tutoring

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in mathematics, education, or a related field

  • Proven experience in online tutoring or teaching mathematics at the elementary, middle, or high school level

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address students' learning needs

  • Proficiency in using online teaching platforms and technology

  • A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed
