Operations Coordinator

Job description

We are currently looking for an Operations Coordinator willing to work on a rotating shift to support our 24/7 office operation in Dubai. We are looking for a full-time employee and is willing to start immediately.

The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

  • Manning the 24/7 Operations ensuring that proper handover is done and that operation is running smooth without any problem and interruption
  • In charge of updating the ETA of the vessels and all other administrative tasks
  • Handling shuttle and platform maritime operations of the company
  • Ensuring all required formalities are arranged prior to the vessel’s port call
  • Attending to clients’ inquiries and needs via phone calls and emails
  • Coordinating with clients and agents for visa applications, transportation and hotel accommodation of the client
  • Coordinating with the Captain to monitor the estimated time of departure and arrival of the vessel
  • Ensuring that all customers receive excellent customer service; inquiries and urgent requests are attended accordingly
  • Submitting required reports as directed by the Management
  • Undertake any other relevant duties and projects as directed by the Management
  • Assisting other departments of the company
  • Manpower Supply Staffing and Business Development in charge
  • You are also expected to oversee all operations related tasks, issues, works and procedures.
  • Other tasks that are required by the Operations

In addition to all the responsibilities provided above, this role is expected to support the operations day to day tasks ensuring a smooth and efficient operation not just for the clients but also for the management.

Requirements:

  • Able to work on a shifting schedule (including night shifts, weekend and/or Holidays)
  • Above average communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A strong team spirit is essential for the position
  • Flexible and Focused
  • Computer literate and well versed in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Fast learner
  • Can work alone with minimum supervision and can also work within a team and secure proper endorsements to the next operations on duty

Salary: To be discussed upon interview

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20,000.00 per month
