Airhosted is a Swiss short-term rental management company that helps property owners unlock the full potential of their homes on Airbnb, Booking.com, and Homes & Villas by Marriott etc.
We handle everything—from guest communication to pricing and operations—so our clients can relax while we take care of the rest.
We’re now looking for an Operations Specialist with extensive Guesty expertise (or similar PMS) to bring new structure, smarter systems, and scalable processes into our company.
 
Role Overview
As our Operations Specialist, you’ll take ownership of operational efficiency across Airhosted.
Your mission: optimize workflows, lead new property onboardings, and make sure we fully leverage our PMS (Guesty) and connected tools such as Operto and Chekin, and new ones to come.
You’ll work directly with our founder and operations team to define better processes and implement automation for a leaner, smarter operation.
 
Key Responsibilities
Lead property onboardings end-to-end: system setup, automations, task flows, check-in setup, etc.
Redefine and document operational processes for scalability and efficiency.
Leverage Guesty to its full capacity (automations, task management, API integrations, reports, guest journeys).
Manage and optimize integrations with Operto, Chekin, PriceLabs, and other STR tools.
Collaborate with internal teams (guest support, cleaning, owner relations) to improve communication and workflows.
Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements and automations.
Support day-to-day PMS operations and troubleshooting.
 
Requirements
✅ Extensive experience with Guesty (or similar PMS) – deep understanding of features and automations, eager to learn them to the utmost detail. 
âś… Hands-on experience with Operto, Chekin, and other STR management tools.
✅ Process-driven mindset – you love building order and efficiency.
âś… Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
âś… Excellent communication skills in English (German a plus).
✅ Self-starter – proactive, independent, and detail-oriented.
âś… Previous experience in short-term rental management or hospitality tech.
 
Big Plus (Optional)
Familiarity with the AI landscape in short-term rentals – understanding which AI tools and automations (e.g. AI messaging, dynamic pricing, guest review management, analytics, etc.) can be implemented to improve operations and efficiency.
