Duties

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport parcels to residential and commercial addresses within assigned routes
  • Load and unload parcels with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring accurate delivery of each item
  • Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and dispatch teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical concerns to ensure safety standards are maintained
  • Follow all traffic laws and company policies to uphold safety on the road at all times
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for accountability and compliance purposes

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or courier services
  • Valid Full UK driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver certification is highly desirable
  • Experience with commercial driving vehicles and understanding of traffic regulations
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting safely during loading and unloading processes
  • Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
  • Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with handling parcels and inventory management
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment
  • Immediate start after the security checks (1-2 days) completed
